Principal Sales Engineer
About the role
We are seeking a seasoned Principal Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to our SVP, Sales, you will drive the technology exploratory stages of the sales process, showcase the flexibility of Cordial’s platform, and provide technical support to the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Drive the technology exploratory stages of the sales process with our prospects and act as a technical leader for our sales organization.
- Showcase the flexibility of Cordial's platform to each of your prospects' unique needs.
- Provide day-to-day product/technical support and enablement to our sales team.
- Provide feedback to senior management and our product team on feature requirements, value proposition, and competitive data.
- Help to onboard new sales and pre-sales resources as Cordial continues to scale.
- Work closely with Sales Leadership, Product, and Engineering to capture best practices and help to systematize how we deliver a world-class pre-sales experience.
- Stand up and capitalize on Loopio, our new RFP Response Platform.
- Offer a critical eye on all deals you are involved in or aware of.
Requirements
You are seasoned with at least 8+ years of experience as a Sr Sales/Solution Engineer, Solutions Architect, or related field in SaaS. You find templated demos boring and always challenge the status quo. You are articulate, able to clearly and concisely articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. You are organized, taking detailed notes and transferring knowledge onto other teams. You are technical, proficient in RESTful APIs, Javascript, JSON, HTML, CSS, and PHP (Smarty) is a plus. You are skilled in presenting persuasive and compelling platform demonstrations and designing and delivering slide and video presentations to convey business value to prospective clients. You are a self-starter, independent, organized, and passionate about detail. You are eager to learn and urgently curious, handling confidential information and sensitive issues with integrity. You are agile, an expert multi-tasker, independently prioritizing and ensuring all needs are met. You are empathetic, approachable, and engaging, connecting well with prospects at all levels and understanding their needs. You are Cordial, walking the talk of our values.
Qualifications
You hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 8+ years of experience as a Sr Sales/Solution Engineer, Solutions Architect, or related field in SaaS.
Skills

Pay
$170,000.00-$195,000.00 annually. The compensation range may be adjusted based on experience and location.
