Key job responsibilities

• Develop a growing book of business in the Department of War sales team.
• Drive business and technical relationships and close business at a rapid rate by helping to define, identify, and pursue key opportunities.
• Establish deep business and technical relationships through your knowledge of the customer’s mission and the AWS partner community.
• Have day-to-day interactions with key strategic partners, DIB partners and emerging tech partners
• Have both a business background that enables them to drive an engagement and interact at senior military and civilian levels.
• Have a technical background that enables them to easily interact with partners, staff officers, contracting officials, software developers, and architects.
• Have experience thinking strategically about the mission, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.
• Help identify key strategies for growth that apply across the Defense and Intelligence business areas
• Be able to travel as necessary.

About the role

This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: 15+ years of IT sales experience, experience reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals, experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects, or experience communicating results to senior leadership, experience working with systems integrators and consulting companies to achieve sales, Bachelor's degree or above, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: US government security clearance of top secret or above, 8+ years of enterprise scale infrastructure or development-based cloud programs/projects in a related industry experience, Master's degree or above in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or Master's degree and 5+ years of professional or military experience.
