Principal Product Procurement Specialist (Remote - Puerto Rico)
About the Role
For our client, we are seeking a Principal Product Procurement Specialist (remote - Puerto Rico) to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will manage sourcing and supplier priorities that improve value, reliability, and operational performance. You will partner with finance, operations, legal, and business stakeholders to negotiate effectively, manage vendors, and support better purchasing decisions. The position offers the opportunity to improve cost discipline, supplier performance, and the processes that support scalable execution within an Aerospace & Defense environment.
Location
Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation
$100,000 – $120,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Lead procurement processes, including RFP development and negotiation strategy
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies and manage supplier relationships
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain challenges
- Proactively mitigate supplier risks to ensure continuity of supply
- Prepare and manage purchase orders and negotiate pricing
- Analyze supplier quotations and market trends for strategic sourcing
- Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual obligations
Qualifications
- University Degree or equivalent with 5 years experience, or Advanced Degree with 3 years experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
- U.S. citizenship is required for access to this program/contract
