Principal Product Manager -Tech, Amazon Warehousing and Distribution
About the role
Amazon Supply Chain Services is building a new offering that leverages Amazon’s advanced logistics, supply chain, and transportation to move products from manufacturers to customers, while keeping products in stock, shipping faster, reliably and at lower cost. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, results-oriented Principal Product Manager - Tech to join our Amazon Warehousing & Distribution team. This is an opportunity to work in a customer-facing startup-like environment within Amazon, where you will own customer research, benchmarking, strategy, and execution for your domain.
Responsibilities
- Define the product roadmap and bring your vision to life by leading a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, program managers, scientists and other product owners.
- Drive day-to-day product development from design through to release.
- Develop concise product requirements with clear, measurable success criteria.
- Negotiate smart trade-offs without sacrificing quality and drive appropriate schedules.
- Use data to influence business strategy and technical priorities and escalate when necessary without damaging relationships.
- Independently represent your products and the product team, communicating with senior executives as well as business and technical stakeholders.
- Drive the strategy and roadmap for solutions that enable the movement of inventory across Amazon’s supply chain efficiently.
- Work with world-class data science and engineering partners to achieve the same.
- Regularly work cross-functionally and share best practices across the broader organization.
- Act as an active mentor and force multiplier, educating broader team members on leading practices.

The Amazon Warehousing and Distribution team aspires to become a best-in-class 3PL offering by 2024 that drives significant benefits for customers, sellers and Amazon itself. We innovate and move fast in an ambiguous setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience working with and influencing senior-level stakeholders
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Pay
Base salary range: $179,900 – $243,400 USD annually (Bellevue, WA). Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
