Summary
Vivint Smart Home is seeking a Principal Product Manager to oversee the setup experience for millions of customers. This role focuses on ensuring that setup processes are efficient, reliable, and enhance customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Develop and align on the setup strategy for all hardware devices like cameras, panels, thermostats, and sensors.
- Collaborate with various teams including sales, marketing, engineering, design, QA, and data to ensure seamless setup experiences.
- Define and implement success metrics for setup processes, focusing on usability, reliability, and customer trust.
- Manage the entire setup process from concept to launch, ensuring continuous improvement in efficiency and quality.
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of product management experience, or 3 years of experience in smart home and setup roles.
- Strong customer empathy and ability to translate customer needs into actionable product strategies.
- Proven track record of successful product launches to large user bases.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and excellent communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to set and measure performance metrics.
- Comfortable working in complex technical environments, including hardware and software.
Job Functions
The role requires a combination of in-office presence in Seattle, WA, with a hybrid schedule (Monday to Thursday in the office, Friday working remotely).
