Principal Product Manager (Next Gen iManage Platform)

About the role
As a Principal Product Manager at iManage, you will be the catalyst for change, bringing relevant data and facts to influence teams to build compelling features that improve efficiency, security, and connectivity for customers and partners. You will drive the next generation of the iManage platform, collaborating with internal teams, business partners, and customers to grow the user base across professional services industries. According to Ravinesh Lal, Director of Product Management, you will "help drive, build, and scale the next generation of the iManage platform, using AI to unlock the knowledge trapped inside business content and communications, and put it to work for professionals every day."
Responsibilities
- Product Vision & Roadmap Strategy:
- Drive the roadmap for the next generation iManage platform, incorporating client capabilities and services into the core platform.
- Own the vision and strategic roadmap for the AI-native document and email management solution, delivering a delightful user experience by integrating the latest Microsoft and iManage products.
- Adapt the product roadmap strategy to align with larger company direction changes and disruptive events.
- Product Design & Customer Validation:
- Interview, synthesize, and rapidly validate features with the UX team based on jobs to be done by different personas accessing content within the iManage platform.
- Translate customer and market insights into compelling product solutions that resonate with different user personas.
- Platform Unification & Extensibility:
- Unify adjacent iManage products and services (e.g., e-signature, bundle builder, analytics) into a single, coherent user experience.
- Prioritize and deliver a core feature experience that internal product teams, business partners, and customers can easily extend to meet their specific use cases.
- Cross-functional Execution & Launch:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform product decisions and roadmap.
- Prioritize development with engineering based on market and customer-facing commitments.
- Execute the launch of new features and releases, working with engineering, support, partners, cloud operations, marketing, sales, and training teams.
- Market Positioning & Competitive Strategy:
- Communicate product capabilities and benefits to the broader market and internal stakeholders.
- Present the product vision, roadmap, and existing features to internal and external audiences, including executive briefings, trade shows, and customer meetings.
- Monitor competitors and develop compelling differentiation across products and services.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager for a B2B or B2C SaaS offering.
- Understanding of cloud and enterprise content security.
- A proven track record of building applications or add-ons that achieved broad adoption (AI-native applications are highly desirable).
- Ability to collaborate, negotiate, and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Experience communicating with and building relationships with key customers and prospects.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate product vision and messaging.
- Strong analytical skills, including market research and competitive analysis.
- Motivation to drive product objectives from concept through completion.
- Desire to continually learn and adapt to changes in the market and technology landscape.
- Experience collaborating with internal teams in fast-moving, delivery-focused environments to consistently ship customer value.

Pay
The overall US annual base salary range for this position is $170,000–$220,000 per year. Individual compensation depends on factors such as qualifications, experience, and candidate location. This range does not include additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses or benefits.
