Principal Product Manager – CDBU DRAM
About the role
Join the Data Center Business Unit (CDBU) at Micron Technology, a world leader in memory and storage solutions. This highly visible role will shape DRAM product strategy and lifecycle management for data center applications, driving innovation in one of the fastest-growing technology segments. You will translate customer needs into product requirements, influence roadmap decisions, and partner with engineering, marketing, and customers to deliver high-impact solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive multi-year DRAM product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle execution
- Translate customer and market needs into clear product requirements and value propositions
- Serve as the DRAM product expert with customers and industry partners
- Lead demand forecasting strategy, including competitive analysis and market modeling
- Identify and integrate high-value AI use cases into product planning and workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 3–5 years of product management or product development experience in the semiconductor industry
- Experience defining technical product requirements and managing cross-functional execution
- Strong technical foundation in data center products or memory solutions
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach; apply artificial intelligence tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in engineering, product management, or related field
- Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and server ecosystem trends
- Familiarity with JAMA, JIRA, or similar tools for requirements management
- Strong communication and presentation skills with customer-facing experience
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to enhance product management workflows
Pay
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000.00 - $319,000.00 a year. Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses, and equity. Individual pay is determined by work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.
