What You Will Do
- Support programming projects utilizing various machine tools, controls and programming software.
- Demonstrate planning, creating, developing and implementing the programs and associated processes.
- Own programs through implementation into production and provide necessary shop support through the development and production cycle.
- Be instrumental in helping write standard work and help develop postprocessors for machines.
- Program airfoils, roots, and/or spindles made from various alloys to include Inconel, Titanium, and Aluminum.
- Select new capital equipment and bring the new equipment into production.
- Participate in NPI (New Product Introduction) projects.
- Collaborate with a strong NC programming team to transform the future of the business with latest-in-class technology and techniques for processing airfoils.
- Conduct process improvement projects on existing hardware to improve product cost and quality and reduce lead time.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 8 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations or related work environment.
- OR a Master's degree and 5 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations or related work environment.
- Demonstrated experience with graphic programming, part modeling and program simulation software, including NX and Vericut.
- Be able to utilize process monitoring software.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (manufacturing/mechanical).
- Experience with Rotating Hardware, Airfoils and continuous improvement projects.
- Experience with George Fischer’s Turbosoft Plus.
- Understanding and use of optimization softwares including Vericut Force, Thirdwave, and CutPro/Machpro.
Pay
The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
