Principal Presales Engineer

This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives for pre-sales activities like demonstrations and technical documentation
• Lead the technical and product sales, advocating for best-practice solutions
• Establish trust by performing technical discovery and designing innovative solutions
• Create engaging customer product demonstrations to showcase the company’s capabilities
• Be a proactive, high-energy problem solver equipped to lead customer success
• Identify and address challenges for customers and within the organization
• Contribute to the Solutions Engineering community through knowledge sharing and mentorship

Qualifications

• 8+ years pre-sales experience with complex technical products or 10+ years in customer-facing technical support roles
• Strong communication and presentation skills to build audience confidence
• Ability to simplify complex topics and engage diverse audiences effectively
• Proven capacity to understand customer communications needs and direct them toward technical solutions
• Prior experience in software development or relevant technical knowledge
• Experience with sales methodologies
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent experience

Pay

$138,872 – $192,880 annually
