Principal PM-T, Seller GenAI Initiatives, Amazon Business
Overview
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager - Technical to lead transformative Gen AI initiatives that will revolutionize the seller experience for Amazon Business 3P sellers. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role where you will define and execute a multi-year strategic vision for AI-powered seller tools that fundamentally change how sellers engage with business customers.
Key Responsibilities
Define the Strategic Vision: Create and drive a multi-year roadmap for Gen AI-powered seller experiences that transforms how sellers do B2B. You'll work in ambiguous spaces where the opportunity and strategy are not yet fully defined, bringing clarity and creating frameworks that enable organizational action.
Build Intelligent AI Systems: Lead development of AI-powered tools including specialized B2B agents integrated into seller workflows, intelligent alert systems that surface opportunities at the right time, and advanced tools for quote management, deal negotiations, and dynamic pricing optimization.
Drive Cross-Organizational Impact: Partner with engineering, science, design, and business teams across AB, Selling Partner Services, Applied AI, and AWS to deliver innovative Gen AI solutions. You'll influence strategic direction across multiple organizations and drive alignment on complex, cross-org initiatives.
Champion Seller Success: Serve as the Voice of the Seller by developing deep expertise through direct engagement with sellers of all sizes—from individual entrepreneurs to enterprise brands. You'll translate diverse seller needs into breakthrough product solutions that drive measurable adoption and business growth.
Lead Technical Innovation: Demonstrate strong technical acumen in user experience, Gen AI, agentic AI systems, and AI platform architectures. You'll make complex technical tradeoffs while maintaining focus on business outcomes and seller value.
Deliver Results - Driving measurable impact on seller success and business metrics.

Independent third-party (3P) sellers represent a critical growth engine for Amazon Business, contributing around 2/3rds of Amazon Business revenue. 3P sellers are essential partners in delivering the unique value propositions that business customers need—from business pricing and bulk selection to specialized certifications and specialty fulfillment. AB3P Product and Tech team's charter is to equip 3P Sellers with the data, tools, and insights to meet the unique purchasing needs of business customers. We're focused on reducing friction and empowering sellers to succeed in the B2B space by building innovative tools and experiences that help them understand and serve business customer needs, manage complex B2B requirements, and grow their businesses on the Amazon Business.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
10+ years of technical product or program management experience
Experience working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage
Experience working effectively with science, data processing, and software engineering teams
Experience using data and metrics to influence senior leadership and drive organizational change
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
Experience with developing machine learning and natural language processing products
1+ years of B2B environment experience
Experience in successful technology product work from ideation through launch
Experience presenting complex ideas in writing in the form of authoring white papers, proposals, or other formal strategy documents
