Principal or Sr Principal CAD/CAM Engineer
for section headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We must include sections only when posting has real specific content. We have description: "At Northrop Grumman..." that's about the company and role. Could be "About the role". Then responsibilities: bullet list under "Roles & Responsibilities". Then requirements: Basic Qualifications for Principal and Sr. Principal. Could combine as "Requirements". Then qualifications: Preferred Qualifications. Could be "Qualifications" or "Preferred Qualifications". The instruction says use headings like Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We have Pay info: salary ranges. So include Pay section. Benefits: mention health insurance etc. So include Benefits. Schedule: not mentioned (no schedule details). So skip Schedule. Skills: maybe we could include skills from responsibilities? But we already have Qualifications. Might not need Skills separate. Could include Skills if we have specific skill list: e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX, AutoCAD, PDM tools, etc. But those are in qualifications. Probably better to have Qualifications section covering both basic and preferred. But we have separate headings allowed: Qualifications, Skills. Could put basic qualifications under Requirements, preferred under Qualifications, and skills under Skills? However instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So maybe combine: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements (including basic and preferred), Benefits, Pay. That's 5 sections. We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID etc. Remove boilerplate: EEO, application period, etc. Also remove "Relocation assistance may be available CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR START: Yes CLEARANCE TYPE: Top Secret TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time". That's metadata; we can fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. The instruction: "Do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it." So we could include a short paragraph at top with relocation assistance, clearance, travel. But maybe better to drop as it's minor? It says "fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it." So we can include a
with that info. Not a heading. We must preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep details like responsibilities bullet points, qualifications details, salary ranges, benefits list. We must not include cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. So remove EEO statement, application period, etc. Now craft HTML. Structure:
Relocation assistance may be available. Clearance required for start: Yes (Top Secret). Travel: Yes, 10% of the time.

Secondary Level Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
We must ensure no duplicated lines. Check for duplicates: The description about Northrop Grumman appears twice? We have one paragraph about the company and role. That's fine. We must not include "The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days..." etc. Removed. We must not include EEO statement. Removed. We must not include "U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance..." That's similar to clearance but we already have clearance in requirements. That line is part of boilerplate; we should drop it. It's after EEO. So remove. Now ensure we didn't miss any substantive info: Relocation assistance, clearance, travel included in opening p. Responsibilities captured. Basic qualifications captured. Preferred qualifications captured as Qualifications. Benefits captured. Pay captured. Also note "This position may be filled as a Principal CAD/CAM Engineer or Sr. Principal CAD/CAM Engineer." That's mentioned in description; we could include in About the role or maybe a note. We have it in About the role? Not yet. We could add a sentence: "This position may be filled as a Principal CAD/CAM Engineer or Sr. Principal CAD/CAM Engineer." Add to About the role paragraph. Also "Join our dedicated Southern California Field Engineering team where you will get be a part of a team that designs, develops, tests, delivers, and operates advanced prototypes and unique marine systems. This role operates in a fast-paced environment and in a collaborative team setting across all levels of the organization. You will plan, lay out, model, draw, and revise detailed part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings using basic layouts, established references, and standard engineering data. You will apply basic knowledge of design and analysis tools and employ the application of general standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. You will utilize computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools such as SolidWorks, Siemens NX, and AutoCAD. In this role, you will focus on managing the migration of model-based designs into new configuration management (CM) tools. You will incorporate new workflows into these CM tools to support engineering changes to models and make process improvements within the tools. You will collaborate closely with design and manufacturing engineers, electrical and mechanical assembly technicians, and operators to ensure systems and components meet design requirements." This is substantive description of role; we should include it in About the role or maybe a separate section like "What You'll Get To Do". But we only have headings list; we could incorporate into About the role. So we need to include all that. Thus About the role paragraph should be expanded to include that description. Let's craft About the role:Join our dedicated Southern California Field Engineering team where you will get be a part of a team that designs, develops, tests, delivers, and operates advanced prototypes and unique marine systems.
