Principal or Sr Principal Electronics Engineer

Northrop Grumman · Baltimore, MD · 1 mo ago
On-siteEngineering$109k–$163k/yrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The description includes a paragraph about Northrop Grumman, then "What You’ll Get To Do" (maybe responsibilities). Then "Roles & Responsibilities" list. Then "Basic Qualifications" for Principal and Sr Principal. Then "Preferred Qualifications". Then salary ranges (Pay). Also mention travel (25% of time) and clearance required (Secret). Also relocation assistance: No relocation assistance available. Should we include a Benefits section? The posting mentions benefits: health insurance, life and disability, savings plan, company paid holidays, PTO. So we can include Benefits section. Also schedule? Not explicit schedule besides occasional rotating shift work, periodic shift work, weekend work may be required. Could include Schedule section. But we need to only include sections when posting has real specific content. The posting mentions "Must be willing to work on an occasional rotating schedule, as needed; including periodic shift work and weekend work may be required". That's specific enough for Schedule. Also travel: "Must be willing to support occasional travel up to 25-30%, both CONUS and OCONUS". Also earlier "TRAVEL: Yes, 25% of the Time". So we can include Travel section. Clearance: "CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR START: Yes CLEARANCE TYPE: Secret". Also "US Citizenship and current/active U.S. Government Secret Clearance required. Must have the ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret/SCI and SAP clearance." So we can include a Clearance section. Relocation assistance: "No relocation assistance available". Could be a short p. We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID. Use

for section headings. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use

for prose. We need to preserve all substantive information. Not invent or summarize away detail. Remove boilerplate: EEO, equal-opportunity, scam-warning, application instructions, cookie/navigation/legal. Also remove duplicated lines. The posting includes duplicated Basic Qualifications for Principal and Sr Principal; we need to keep both but maybe combine? They are separate qualifications for two possible levels. We should keep both as separate sub-sections? Could have a section "Qualifications" with subheadings? But we only allowed

    for section headings. Could have

    Qualifications

    then inside we can have

for prose describing both levels? But we need to preserve details: For Principal: Bachelor's + 5 years experience; for Sr Principal: Bachelor's + 8 years experience. Also same other requirements. Could present as two

paragraphs. Preferred Qualifications: list. Salary: Primary Level Salary Range and Secondary Level Salary Range. Also note about overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, annual bonuses, Long Term Incentives for VP/Director. Also benefits. Travel: 25% of time, occasional travel up to 25-30% both CONUS and OCONUS. Clearance: Secret required for start, ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret/SCI and SAP. Relocation assistance: No relocation assistance available. Schedule: occasional rotating schedule, periodic shift work, weekend work may be required. Benefits: health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company paid holidays, paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. Also mention "What You’ll Get To Do" maybe as Responsibilities? Actually "What You’ll Get To Do" is a prose paragraph describing responsibilities. Then "Roles & Responsibilities" is a list. We could combine them under Responsibilities section. But we need to not lose detail. We could have

    Responsibilities

    then a

for the prose "What You’ll Get To Do..." then a

for the list. Also "Description At Northrop Grumman..." is about the company; could be under About the role or About the company. Since we have no job title heading, we can have

      About the role

with that paragraph. Now ensure we don't include boilerplate: EEO statement, application period, equal opportunity, etc. Also remove "The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days..." etc. Also remove "Northrop Grumman is an Equal Opportunity Employer..." etc. Also remove "U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions." Actually that is relevant to citizenship requirement; but it's somewhat boilerplate but still substantive? It says US Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance. Already we have US Citizenship requirement in qualifications. Might be considered redundant but we can keep it as part of qualifications? Might be considered boilerplate but it's a statement of requirement. However the instruction: "Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions." The citizenship statement is not EEO; it's a requirement. Might keep. But we already have US Citizenship in qualifications. Could keep it but might be duplicate. Safer to keep it as part of qualifications? We'll keep qualifications as given; we can omit the separate sentence. Now produce HTML. Structure:
