About the role

You will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers, reviewing designs, and integrating with other NG integrated product teams to ensure adherence to, and implementation of requirements. You will actively participate in design reviews, design release, research, plan, design and develop mechanical products and solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizen
  • Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
  • Experience performing mechanical design and release efforts on MILCON, major infrastructure/building projects, or Aerospace and Defense programs
  • Proficient with PDM and/or CPLM or equivalent
  • Proficient with 3D design/2D drawing CAD in NX or equivalent
  • Understand and interpret requirements
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of tools - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Work independently, function in a dynamic environment, and be flexible in changing direction

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly and succinctly communicate complex concepts
  • Exposure to missiles program requirements & with propulsion
  • Proficient with GD&T and ASME Y14.5-2009

Benefits

The standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Pay

The primary level salary range is $89,400.00 - $134,200.00. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

Schedule

The standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
