ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Design, develop, and analyze mechanical systems, components, and assemblies in support of intelligence and national security missions.
- Carry out engineering assessments, failure analyses, and performance evaluations to ensure system integrity and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and program managers, to integrate mechanical solutions into complex systems.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, schematics, and CAD models.
- Apply advanced problem-solving techniques to troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend design improvements.
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical systems under controlled and operational environments.
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable standards, safety regulations, and mission requirements.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Experience working in classified or high-security environments is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaborative skills.
- Experience with advanced manufacturing techniques, robotics, or unmanned systems.
- Knowledge of thermal, structural, or fluid system simulations.
- Familiarity with project management tools and systems engineering processes.
