Principal IT Infrastructure Auditor - Vice President

You will be responsible for auditing Deutsche Bank’s IT Infrastructure and Networks controls. As part of a global team spread across the US, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Singapore, you will evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of information technology and security controls within the bank’s IT infrastructure departments.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, coordinate, and execute audits to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of IT infrastructure controls in accordance with Group Audit’s Methodology.
  • Contribute to Continuous Monitoring and overall implementation of Group Audit Methodology.
  • Undertake audit assignments, draft and consolidate audit reports for review by audit management, facilitate finding remediation planning, and validate closure of prior audit findings.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and special inquiries.
  • Work closely with colleagues in New York, Jacksonville, London, Frankfurt, and Singapore.
  • Interact with senior stakeholders in the Bank’s IT department up to Managing Director level.
  • Manage a diverse team of auditors supporting each audit, overseeing fieldwork performed and providing constructive feedback where required.

Requirements

  • University degree in management information systems, accounting, auditing, computer science, engineering, or a related scientific field.
  • Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent qualification in information technology, project management, or process-/quality management would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience in one or more of the following disciplines: IT infrastructure, IT production management, IT operations (e.g., system administrator, network administration, database administration, data center operator), or software development for IT infrastructure applications.
  • Experience in IT Audit, IT risk management, or information technology.
  • Fundamental understanding of audit disciplines such as pre-/post-implementation audits, controls in outsourced environments (e.g., managed services), auditing project management, auditing IT services, and quality management.

Skills

  • Very good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in conflicts and at all management levels.
  • Experience analyzing and articulating IT Infrastructure risks, combined with a good understanding of IT services and processes in an enterprise environment.
  • Flexibility, proactivity, self-sufficiency, and innovation, with strong organizational skills to take ownership and responsibility for agreed targets.
  • Ability to multi-task assignments, prioritize workload with limited supervision, and be resilient under pressure to deliver to deadlines.

Pay

The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 to $222,500. Actual salaries may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location, and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or other types of remuneration.

Schedule

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York City office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.
