Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP FI/CO solution design, configuration, and delivery with deep expertise across complex enterprise environments.
  • Drive SAP S/4HANA transformation programs using SAP Activate and/or agile methodologies.
  • Design and implement core finance processes including New GL, document splitting, parallel ledgers, and S/4HANA Universal Journal.
  • Configure SAP FSCM processes covering Credit Management, Collections, and Dispute Management.
  • Lead Product Costing, Material Ledger, CO-PA, and Asset Accounting (including S/4HANA Universal Asset Management).
  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP FI/CO with SD, MM, PP, and PS modules, as well as downstream applications.
  • Develop and support SAP Fiori applications and provide end-to-end finance architecture guidance across projects.

Qualifications

  • Mandatory experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with an external tax engine such as Vertex.
  • Experience leading/Consulting S/4HANA transformation programs.
  • Experience in agile delivery models or SAP Activate methodology.
  • E-invoicing (eInvoice) frameworks and integration with SAPSAF-T (Standard Audit File for Tax) reporting and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong proficiency in following core areas: New GL, Document Splitting, and Parallel Ledgers, FSCM (Credit Management, Collections, Dispute Management), Asset Accounting, including S/4HANA Universal Asset Management, Product Costing and Material Ledger, CO-PA (Profitability Analysis), Deep understanding of integration with SAP modules such as SD, MM, PP, and PS.
  • Proven experience with: S/4HANA Finance and Universal Journal, SAP Fiori applications, Integration with downstream and connected applications.

About the Role

The Principal SAP S/4 FICO IT Analyst leads complex, high-impact IT projects, providing guidance on IT strategy and driving data-informed decision-making. Reporting directly to the Director of IT, this role is based in Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA, with a hybrid work schedule.
