Responsibilities
- Develop and implement GIS solutions to support organizational goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design GIS projects
- Conduct data analysis and provide insights to inform decision-making
- Train and mentor colleagues on GIS tools and techniques
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in GIS
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in GIS or related field
- Experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field
- Experience with advanced GIS techniques and technologies
- Leadership experience in a GIS-related role
Skills
- Proficiency in Python and/or SQL
- Experience with geospatial data modeling and analysis
- Knowledge of web mapping technologies (e.g., OpenLayers, Leaflet)
- Experience with geographic information systems (GIS)
