About the role

This role involves working on cutting-edge GIS projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the advancement of geographic information systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain GIS applications using ArcGIS platform
- Collaborate with project managers, data analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality GIS solutions
- Contribute to the design and implementation of GIS features and functionalities
- Perform testing and debugging of GIS applications
- Document and maintain GIS codebase
- Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and industry trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Geomatics, or related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in GIS development
- Experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript or Python
- Familiarity with SQL and database management
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field
- Experience with server-side GIS development
- Knowledge of geospatial analysis techniques
Skills
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and SQL
- Experience with web mapping technologies
- Understanding of geospatial data models and geospatial algorithms
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment

Pay
Salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek.
