About the role

This role involves working on cutting-edge GIS projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the advancement of geographic information systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain GIS applications using ArcGIS platform
• Collaborate with project managers, data analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality GIS solutions
• Contribute to the design and implementation of GIS features and functionalities
• Perform testing and debugging of GIS applications
• Document and maintain GIS codebase
• Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and industry trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Geomatics, or related field
• 2+ years of professional experience in GIS development
• Experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript or Python
• Familiarity with SQL and database management
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field
• Experience with server-side GIS development
• Knowledge of geospatial analysis techniques

Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and SQL
• Experience with web mapping technologies
• Understanding of geospatial data models and geospatial algorithms
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment

Pay

Salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek.
