About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support the Global Operations functions of Sensata. Reporting to the Vice President of HR for Global Operations, the HRBP will provide HR support and advice to functional Vice Presidents for Procurement, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering Excellence, as well as to the Senior Directors of SIOP/Logistics and Facilities, Environmental, Safety, and Health.

Responsibilities

  • Apply business knowledge and HR expertise to provide support and advice on recruitment, terminations, performance management, employee relations, and HR best practices.
  • Provide expert advice to employees and managers on benefits, payroll, and general HR policies.
  • Contribute to the strategy implementation and operations of HR services, managing various departments including comp & benefits, talent acquisition, data administration, and orientation.
  • Develop department goals, objectives, and systems, and manage the creation and implementation of updated processes.
  • Communicate findings to HR leadership and teams, and make recommendations based on research and analysis.
  • Stay informed about employment, state, federal, and local regulations, and communicate their impact to HR leadership and teams.

Requirements

  • A university degree (Bachelors or equivalent relevant work experience) is required.
  • Must be a team player capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
  • Self-accountability to achieving goals and standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including suppliers and external customers.
  • Experience with Workday system is preferred.

Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $112,800.00 - $155,100.00. Short-term and long-term incentive programs may also be available.

Pay

Base Salary Range: $112,800.00 - $155,100.00

Schedule

Flexible schedule with occasional travel up to 20%, including international destinations.

Skills

Knowledge of HR best practices, strong communication skills, organizational and planning abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs are essential.
