About the role
The Global Finance Human Resources Team is looking for an exceptional Global HR Leader to drive the development and implementation of the HR Strategy in support of Amazon's fast growing Finance businesses. In this position you will partner with the various senior leaders (VPs and Directors) along with their respective leadership teams to develop and execute the HR strategies and planning activities that foster organizational and people effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Understand business priorities and translate them into an HR strategy that supports the business
- Serve as a thought leader and strategic business partner in areas such as talent management, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness
- Diagnose problems as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions
- Roll up your sleeves and dive deep into tech/data-enabled insight and solutions
- Leverage data to establish HR priorities and operating mechanisms to drive change
- Interface effectively with professionals at all levels of the organization
- Travel within the US approximately 20% of the time, and as appropriate
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 10+ years of HR specialist, HR generalist (e.g., HR Business Partner or HR Partner), HR manager, or HR program roles experience

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working with global teams, driving organizational change initiatives, and developing talent management plans for a global organization
- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination, or experience handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives
- Experience recognizing a challenge and working with a variety of teams and data sources to diagnose the problem and recommend solutions
- Experience in project or program management
- Relevant experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse environment
- Experience in organizational leadership and development or talent management, with experience in a senior leadership role
- Experience working with teams and executive leadership in a complex enterprise environment
- Experience working cross functionally across several teams
- Experience in performing team building, coaching, and managing
- Strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in complex litigation, including independently developing case theory and making high-stakes judgment calls
- Experience working in fast paced environments, and managing workload even during times of stress, or escalated activity
- Written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
- Experience leading continuous process improvement in a technical support environment
- Experience working independently and collaborating effectively in a remote team environment
Pay
USA, WA, SEATTLE - 154,700.00 - 209,300.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
