Principal Financial Specialist, Program Cost Controls (P3) *HYBRID*
About the role
This is a great opportunity to join the Patriot Product Line Finance Team. As a key member of the finance team, the successful candidate will perform detailed financial analysis, support baseline and EAC (Estimate at Complete) development and reviews, and work closely with IPT, OSC, and program office counterparts and leadership. This role is ideal for someone who wants to be part of a fast‑paced, growing business and support multiple domestic and international defense programs throughout various stages of the contract lifecycle. The position is hybrid (onsite & remote) with the preferred candidate located within a commutable distance to Andover, MA. Allowable locations are Tucson, AZ; Huntsville, AL; McKinney, TX; or FL. Relocation assistance is not provided.
Responsibilities
- Quarterly EAC reviews, by individual program & product line summaries
- Trend analysis for spend rates & EVMS Metrics at a product line
- Process Budget Change Requests (BCRs) as needed
- Manpower planning (IPT, ESPB, LOE)
- Support proposal activities & pricing exercises
- Financial responsibility for IPT (Integrated Product Team), ESPB (Engineering Support to Production Baseline) & NRE (Non‑Recurring) efforts across the portfolio
- Various ad hoc exercises
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field & a minimum of 5 years of Finance related business experience; OR an Advanced degree and 3 years of Finance related business experience
- Experience with SAP, APEX or related tools
- Experience with EVMS
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
Qualifications
- EVMS certification
- Independent, motivated, and able to collaborate across the organization with the ability to drive independent analysis in a highly dynamic and constantly expanding environment
- Experience with either Program Controls or Business Operations finance
- Demonstrated experience meeting critical deadlines with excellent communication & organizational skills with strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
- Basic understanding of GSCM/Ops/Quality "Standard Structure"

Pay
The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.
Schedule
Hybrid role (onsite & remote); preferred candidate within commutable distance to Andover, MA. Allowable locations: Tucson, AZ; Huntsville, AL; McKinney, TX; or FL. Relocation assistance is not provided. Ratio of time onsite determined in partnership with the leader; commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
