About the role
Amazon is a fast growing business in need of a Principal Executive Recruiter to help the business scale by recruiting top leaders for executive level tech positions across the Amazon Stores business. There is no greater reward in search than seeing your hired candidates have a significant, positive impact on the business. Focus and deliverables for the first 12 months include full Amazon immersion; learning business models, competencies, and leadership principles; developing search strategies, conducting research, performing thorough assessments, and presenting qualified candidates for executive searches; learning about Amazon’s overall needs across functional areas and developing strategies for individual and team success in the identification and attraction of senior‑level talent.
Responsibilities
- The Principal Executive Recruiter (Tech) will be fully responsible for owning and executing executive level (Director and Vice President) searches.
- Well‑versed in all aspects of an executive search including creative candidate sourcing, candidate generation and development, client management, and offer/negotiation.
- Conducting research to map target companies and top talent for Amazon.
- Creating unique and robust search strategies to identify and attract the best and brightest.
- Developing innovative ways to raise the bar on how Amazon recruits talent.
- Calibrating candidates with hiring managers
