Principal Enterprise Applications SAP Logistics/ WM Consultant

About the role
As a Principal Enterprise Applications SAP consultant, you will contribute to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be involved in business process consulting, defining problems, proposing and creating solutions, and playing a key role in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes and deliverables, contribute to proposal development, client training, and internal capability building, and help detail the project scope. You will shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise across SAP WM/Stock Room Management, including inbound, outbound, internal movements, putaway, picking strategies, Handling Unit Management (HUM), and Storage Unit Management.
- Design and configure RF processes in WM/Stockroom Management.
- Lead Physical Inventory processes and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Execute warehouse data migration using SAP Migration Cockpit.
- Plan and execute cutover activities, hypercare, and risk mitigation for warehouse go-lives.
- Integrate WM with MM, SD, and PP modules.
- Develop custom enhancements in SAP Stockroom Management/WM.
- Act as an architect on WM projects, including full-cycle implementations and S/4HANA conversions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution (or three years of progressive IT experience in lieu of each year of education).
- At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology.
- At least 11 years of strong SAP WM background, with more than 2 years as an architect in WM.
- Experience with at least 2 full-cycle SAP WM implementations and 1+ S/4HANA conversion project involving WM.
- Strong knowledge of Stock Room Management scope and limitations in S/4HANA.
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills via telephone, email, or face-to-face interactions.
