Principal Enterprise Applications SAP Controlling Consultant

About the role

As Principal Enterprise Applications Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options, and makes recommendations. You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design. You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization's financial guidelines. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Responsibilities

• Handle requirement gathering, blueprint, design, configuration, functional testing, test data setup
• Analyze business requirements, conceptual and detail design to meet business needs
• Involve in necessary SAP configurations, detailed functional/technical specifications, testing and implementing the automated solution
• Guide and manage overall SAP team for development and testing
• Coordinate work delivery between onsite and offshore teams
• Work with flexible timings including offshore overlaps twice a day

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology
• At least 11+ years of experience in SAP implementation programs in the modules of SAP FICO, Treasury, Controlling and Tax
• Experience in Chemicals or other Process industries
• Hands-on experience in SAP Finance and Controlling in a S/4HANA implementation programs

Required expertise

• Controlling: Cost Center & Internal Order Accounting, Perform Product Cost Planning, Perform Period End Closing, Analysis and Reporting, Settle Maintenance and Asset Financial
• Finance: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Manage GL accounting & reporting, Inter Company Reconciliation, Asset Accounting

Skills

• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Client facing experience with great communication and presentation skills
• Analytical skills with ability to work in advanced Excel based data analysis
• Ability to work with offshore teams and coordinating work delivery
• Knowledge or certification of S4 HANA and Scrum Master / Agile Coach (additional benefits)

This position is based in Wickliffe, Ohio. The role may require travel to project/client's location.
