Analog Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADI) is a global semiconductor leader that bridges the physical and digital worlds to enable breakthroughs at the Intelligent Edge. ADI combines analog, digital, AI, and software technologies into solutions that combat climate change, reliably connect humans and the world, and help drive advancements in automation and robotics, mobility, healthcare, energy and data centers.

About the role

The Power Solutions group enables ADI to capture system-level power opportunities across Aerospace & Defence, Healthcare, Instrumentation, and Communications. This P5 individual contributor role requires technical credibility, customer insight, commercial judgement, and cross-functional leadership to scale Power Solutions from product engagements to repeatable platforms and go-to-market models.

Responsibilities

  • Market Strategy
    • Develop a deep understanding of priority segments, including Aerospace & Defence, Healthcare, Instrumentation, and Communications.
    • Translate market sizing, customer pain points, architecture trends, competition, and technology shifts into investment recommendations.
  • Solution Strategy
    • Define power architecture strategies that connect customer needs to ADI products, platforms, reference designs, software, and support models.
    • Partner with systems engineering, applications, product lines, and technology teams to shape requirements, trade-offs, and differentiated concepts.
  • Business Execution
    • Build business cases for new solution initiatives, covering revenue potential, strategic fit, validation, differentiation, and execution needs.
    • Build qualified pipeline with sales, field applications, business development, and product line teams.
  • Customer & Field Engagement
    • Engage customers, OEMs, partners, and field teams to validate needs and shape architectures.
    • Translate system challenges into ADI proposals and roadmap feedback.
  • Positioning & Enablement
    • Develop launch plans, enablement materials, customer content, competitive plays, and proof points.
    • Position ADI as a power system architecture partner, not only a component supplier.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Guide alignment across product, applications, systems, sales, business development, operations, and executive teams.
    • Provide market, customer, and competitive feedback to shape roadmap, prioritisation, and execution.

Requirements

  • Typically 8+ years’ experience in technical-commercial roles across semiconductors, power electronics, or industrial systems.
  • Strong grounding in power management, conversion, architectures, mixed-signal systems, or industrial electronics.
  • Ability to turn market and customer insight into strategy, roadmaps, business cases, and go-to-market execution.
  • Experience developing value propositions, competitive positioning, enablement, and customer-facing technical narratives.
  • Ability to influence global cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree such as a Master’s, PhD, or MBA.
  • Experience in Defence/Avionics, Medical, Instrumentation, or Telecommunications.

Other Requirements

  • International travel may be required, typically 10–15%.
  • For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
