PRINCIPAL ENGINEER (PACKAGING ENGINEERING)

About the role

As a Principal Engineer in Packaging Engineering, you will lead the development and implementation of innovative packaging solutions. Your expertise will drive product design, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to develop new packaging technologies
• Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to optimize packaging processes
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and consumer needs
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality materials
• Ensure regulatory compliance and sustainability goals are met

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in packaging engineering
• Proven track record of successful project management
• Strong understanding of packaging materials and their properties
• Experience with packaging design software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Engineering or related field preferred
• Leadership experience in a technical role
• Knowledge of ISO and FDA regulations
• Experience with sustainable packaging practices

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
