About the role
We are looking for a Principal Engineer with 10-25 years of design and field experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field investigations, analysis and design
- Interact with clients and other design and construction professionals
- Conduct forensic investigations and litigation support for expert witness services
- Able to perform business development tasks and develop a book of business
- Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree, Master of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred
- Professional licensure/registration for the state of IL required
- Experienced with AutoCAD and computer aided analysis/design of structures is required and experience with BIM software a plus
- Strong oral and written communication skills are also required
- Some travel is required to attend site meetings and perform investigations
