Principal Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of advanced medical device products in a regulated engineering environment. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise for complex engineering initiatives while collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver reliable and manufacturable solutions. This position requires strong analytical skills, product design experience, and the ability to provide technical guidance on challenging projects. The role is hands on and does not include people management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct design analysis of components and assemblies to improve product performance, manufacturability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to coordinate design activities and ensure successful project completion.
• Provide technical guidance and engineering expertise for complex product development initiatives.
• Review engineering designs and recommend improvements to support quality and performance objectives.
• Support engineering documentation and participate in design reviews throughout the product development process.
• Work closely with cross functional teams to resolve technical issues and meet project timelines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Extensive experience in electrical engineering and product design.
• Strong knowledge of design analysis, component selection, and engineering best practices.
• Experience working within a regulated medical device or similar manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience supporting complex product development programs.
• Knowledge of product reliability and manufacturability improvement techniques.
• Experience providing technical leadership on engineering projects.
