Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across electrical and RF design efforts, setting design standards, methodologies, and review practices
- Lead complex engineering programs from concept through production, including requirements definition, architecture development, risk assessment, and cross-functional alignment
- Drive system-level decision-making, ensuring designs meet performance, manufacturability, reliability, and compliance requirements
- Conduct and lead peer reviews, ensuring rigor in analysis, documentation, and verification
- Mentor and support the development of junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, curiosity, and continuous improvement
- Champion best practices in schedule management, data integrity, communication clarity, and engineering discipline
- Identify opportunities for organizational and technical improvement, influencing long-term engineering strategy
Requirements
- Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, or a related field; advanced degree preferred, 10+ years of relevant industry experience, ideally including startup or high-growth environments
- Skills: Expert-level understanding of analog, mixed-signal, and RF circuit design principles, ability to architect complex electrical systems, select components, and define design requirements, proficiency with simulation tools such as SPICE for modeling and performance analysis, strong familiarity with vendor ecosystems and component selection strategies, deep knowledge of RF design concepts, PCB layout constraints, and best practices for high-frequency systems, ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Duties and Responsibilities
- Own electrical system architecture and guide implementation across engineering teams
- Lead the design, development, analysis, documentation, and testing of products, systems, and subsystems
- Produce and review formal design documentation, including architecture definitions and design synthesis
- Perform advanced modeling and simulation of electrical and RF circuits
- Oversee schematic capture, BOM strategy, and lifecycle management
- Direct PCB layout efforts and ensure high-quality manufacturing outputs
- Manage the relationship with PCB vendors and fabrication partners to ensure the build quality and manufacturability
- Lead root-cause investigations and drive corrective actions for complex failures
- Develop comprehensive test plans and oversee execution and reporting
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and technicians

- Expected annual salary range: $190,000 - $235,000
