Principal Data Science Engineer

What You’ll Be Doing...

• Transform raw information into strategic intelligence for the Verizon Consumer Group
• Develop and perform complex analyses using big data technologies
• Design and refine predictive models to solve complex business questions
• Extract actionable insights from massive datasets to drive revenue and customer retention
• Guide peers through system usage assessments
• Lead process improvement initiatives and ensure rigorous data quality standards
• Apply sophisticated UI/UX design principles to data visualization
• Stay at the forefront of modeling techniques and emerging industry trends

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
• Six or more years of relevant work experience
• Experience in data management, analysis and visualization
• Experience in Looker & Qlik or similar visual analysis tool, optimization, analytics and large data sets
• Experience with data modeling using LookML in the Looker platform
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Big Query / Vertex AI / Looker / LookML / Looker Studio Pro)
• Experience as a data scientist, analyst, or statistical modeler
• Experience with programming language SQL
• Experience in designing, developing and implementing ETL processes

Salary Range

$120,500.00 - $231,000.00
