What You’ll Be Doing...
- Transform raw information into strategic intelligence that shapes customer behaviors and market trends.
- Develop high-scale systems, applications, and advanced visual dashboards using Big Data technologies.
- Design and refine predictive models to solve complex business questions and improve operational predictability.
- Extract actionable insights from massive datasets to drive revenue and customer retention.
- Guide peers through system usage assessments.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and ensure rigorous data quality standards.
- Apply sophisticated UI/UX design principles to data visualization.
- Stay at the forefront of modeling techniques and emerging industry trends to keep Verizon’s analytics ecosystem "ahead of the game."
What We’re Looking For...
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in data management, analysis, and visualization.
- Experience with Looker & Qlik or similar visual analysis tools, optimization, analytics, and large data sets.
- Experience with data modeling using LookML in the Looker platform.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Big Query / Vertex AI / Looker / LookML / Looker Studio Pro).
- Experience as a data scientist, analyst, or statistical modeler.
- Experience with programming languages like SQL.
- Experience in designing, developing, and implementing ETL processes.
Even Better If You Have...
- A master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Economics/Econometrics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Operations Research.
- A passion for educating and communicating analytic findings and insights with integrity to all levels.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Retail Channel metrics and data domain principles.
- Experience in visual science / dashboard design principles.
- Experience in applying statistical ideas and methods to data sets to answer business problems.
- Experience with programming languages like Python, JS, or R.
- Experience with Machine Learning algorithms and tools.
Where You’ll Be Working...
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager.

Salary Range
The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $120,500.00 - $231,000.00.
