About the role
Deploys physical plant cabling systems and coordinates infrastructure implementation efforts for Oracle data centers. Collaborates with Program Management teams and vendors to deliver build-out of data center infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Data Center Design & Implementation – Cabling Infrastructure:
- Implements structured cabling solutions for new data center builds and expansions.
- Deploys physical plant cabling systems.
- May contribute to the development of global data center cabling and infrastructure standards.
- Troubleshoots moderately complex cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
- Data Center Design & Implementation – Continuous Improvement:
- Coordinates infrastructure implementation efforts for Oracle data centers.
- Develops sustainable and repeatable solutions to support continuous improvement of data centers.
- Project Management – Project Planning:
- Aligns the team on project scope, reviewing the Bill of Materials and resources available.
- Reviews the project roadmap to align with scope and business needs.
- Prioritizes customer experience in project planning and delivery.
- Project Management – Reporting & Documentation:
- Collaborates with Program Management teams to ensure project deliverables are completed on time.
- Attends vendor business reviews to report on project updates and document vendor progress and roadblocks.
- Creates and maintains documentation on cabling and build standards for data center infrastructure.
- Vendor Management:
- Collaborates with vendors to deliver build-out of data center infrastructure.
- Participates in the vendor bidding and selection process.
- Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with internal and external project stakeholders.
- Planning & Execution:
- Manages and coordinates moderately complex tasks, monitoring timelines and deliverables.
- Efficiently delegates, monitors, and prioritizes work across multiple projects.
- Provides technical oversight and adjusts plans to address shifts in resources or timelines.
- Collaboration & Partnership:
- Collaborates across the organization to align on expectations and achieve shared objectives.
- Leverages understanding of business leaders, stakeholders, and customers to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs.

- Identifies and addresses moderately complex issues by analyzing data and information.

Requirements
Certain U.S.-based or U.S. customer/client-facing roles may require compliance with applicable requirements, such as immunization, occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing.
Pay
Hiring range in USD: $91,400 – $187,000 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
