Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Commercial Banking Relationship Manager in Technology banking within Specialized Industries as part of Commercial Banking.
About the role
In this role, you will:
- Develop, retain, and grow highly complex client relationships through relationship management, understanding client needs and priorities, responding quickly, communicating proactively, managing expectations, and soliciting feedback.
- Act as a subject matter expert to guide and influence others in growing relationships.
- Lead highly complex and substantial cash flow, real estate loans, and industry-specific solutions with enterprise impact by analyzing financials, presenting to clients, and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
- Lead the strategy and resolution for the full suite of complex solutions offered by Wells Fargo to meet significant client needs across multiple enterprise areas, engaging product organizations to develop long-term, large-scale client-specific solutions.
- Provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise regarding Commercial Banking Relationship Management strategies that influence the organization’s business and financial operations.
- Strategically lead all levels of professionals across the enterprise to improve processes, resolve client issues, and represent the company externally as an expert; mentor less experienced colleagues.
- Drive relationship planning activities to deliver solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines by keeping information current in relevant systems.
- Strategically lead and support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients by cultivating relationships through existing networks.
- Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide vision and expertise on client and market needs, enabling large-scale companywide strategies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Technology Sector.
- Successfully completed FINRA Series 63 and Series 79 exams to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents).
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with clients and partnerships with internal teams.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
Job Expectations
- Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate FINRA license(s) is required for ongoing employment. State registration, specific product licenses, or SAFE licensing may also apply.
- Must meet enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance.
- FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses (or equivalent) must be completed within 180 days of hire if not immediately available to transfer.
- Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory.
- Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing.
- For FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required.
- This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check.
- Internal transfers are subject to compliance with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3.
- Successful candidates must meet ongoing regulatory requirements, including additional screening and reporting certain incidents.
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
Pay
$185,000.00 - $300,000.00
