Principal - Coastal Restoration Louisiana, California, Nationwide - Regular Full-Time As the Principal - Coastal Restoration, you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise for the Coastal Restoration business. This role is responsible for operational and technical excellence and plays a key role in growth strategy and business development. About The Role Serve as the primary technical authority for coastal restoration projects throughout True Environmental, providing senior-level direction on project design, planning, and executionInterface with multidisciplinary project teams to integrate coastal restoration expertise across environmental, engineering, and regulatory service linesReview and approve technical deliverables including reports, plans, and regulatory submissionsPrepare and review expert reports, rebuttal documents, and technical memoranda for litigation and regulatory proceedingsProvide technical leadership on ecological issuesPresent findings clearly to legal, regulatory, and non-technical audiencesPartner with senior leaders to shape functional strategy, service offerings, and market positioningDrive strategic business development efforts, including large pursuits, partnerships, and emerging marketsLead business development effort through leading proposal development, scope development and presentations to clientsProvide technical input to projects within your area(s) of expertiseInterface with other technical experts to achieve multidisciplinary project goalsMentor and provide technical training to junior and intermediate team membersParticipate in strategic hiring, succession planning, and organizational development initiativesFoster a high-performing, inclusive team culture by modeling company values, setting clear expectations, and developing an environment of trust, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvementAll other duties as required. About You Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Hydrology, Geology, Coastal Science, Environmental Science, Ecology or a related field15+ years of previous experience working in environmental consulting and A/E/C with a focus on coastal restorationDemonstrated experience serving as a technical expert on environmental and coastal restoration projectsA high level of professionalism, integrity, ethics, and commitment to environmental sustainabilityProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other business software All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
