RemoteRemoteMarketing$131k–$176k/yrFull-time

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, a platform enabling organizations that depend on physical operations to harness IoT data for actionable insights and operational improvements. We help enhance the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of industries representing over 40% of global GDP, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing. Our team shapes product solutions like Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring. As a recently public company, we offer autonomy and support to drive long-term impact.

About the role

Samsara’s Go-To-Market Systems (GTMS) team builds internal products powering how Samsara sells—quoting, approvals, and opportunity workflows relied on by thousands of sellers daily. As a Senior Business Technology Product Manager on our Sales Execution pod, you’ll own the seller experience end-to-end: identifying high-friction moments in the deal cycle and shipping solutions to make sellers faster, more accurate, and more confident. This is a builder’s product role where you’ll prototype, build, and iterate directly using modern AI tools, with engineering support to scale your work. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, and Engineering to translate complex go-to-market challenges into scalable, measurable solutions across Salesforce and our CPQ/quote-to-cash stack.

This role is open to candidates residing in the US and Canada, excluding Alaska, Austin Metro, Boulder Metro, California, Chicago Metro, Connecticut, Dallas Metro, Denver Metro, Houston Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Seattle Metro, and Washington, D.C.

You should apply if

  • You want to impact industries that run our world, ensuring real-world outcomes like keeping the lights on, stocking grocery stores, reducing emissions, and prioritizing worker safety.
  • You seek autonomy and career growth, with opportunities to experiment and advance in a hyper-growth environment.
  • You’re energized by our vision to digitize large sectors of the global economy and are ready to contribute creative, ambitious ideas.
  • You thrive in a high-caliber team environment where collaboration, celebration, and mutual support drive success.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap for seller-facing quoting, approvals, and opportunity workflows across Salesforce and CPQ, turning ambiguous go-to-market problems into shipped solutions with measurable outcomes.
  • Discover and prioritize ruthlessly by partnering with Sales, Deal Desk, and Finance to identify high-leverage problems, define success metrics, and decide what not to build.
  • Build, don’t just spec: create clickable prototypes, stand up dashboards and data models, and ship internal tools and AI-assisted workflows, with engineering support to scale them.
  • Treat internal tools as living products: instrument adoption, track usage and business impact, and iterate with the same rigor as customer-facing products.
  • Use modern AI tools as a core part of your workflow—from drafting requirements and analysis to prototyping and building—to raise your own leverage and the team’s.
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience (or equivalent) building and owning enterprise software or internal tools, with a track record of shipping products in a defined domain.
  • Experience with go-to-market or revenue systems, such as Salesforce (CRM), CPQ/quoting, or adjacent sales/revenue-operations tooling.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business problems into clear requirements and measurable product outcomes.
  • Hands-on comfort building with modern AI tools—excited to prototype and build yourself, not just delegate.
  • Strong stakeholder management across Sales, Finance, and Engineering.

Qualifications

  • Ability to build real artifacts directly—clickable prototypes, SQL-backed dashboards, or working POCs—without waiting in a development queue.
  • Experience building or operating AI agents/assistants in production, including adoption, evaluations, iteration, and rollback.
  • Deep Salesforce/CPQ domain expertise (quote-to-cash, approvals, opportunity management).
  • Familiarity with automation platforms (e.g., Workato) and hands-on data skills (SQL).
  • A track record of driving real adoption of internal tools, not just launching them.

Pay

Annual base salary range: $131,197.50–$176,400 USD. This role is also eligible for an initial RSU grant with no vesting cliff and ongoing refresh opportunities tied to performance, subject to plan terms.

Benefits

At Samsara, we design rewards for high-impact builders. Our compensation program includes above-market total compensation through base salary, performance-based bonus/variable pay, and equity in a high-growth public company. We differentiate pay for top performers, offering opportunities to outpace the broader market over time. Beyond compensation, we provide:

  • A flexible, employee-led remote model with optional in-office work.
  • A professional development stipend.
  • Comprehensive health and parental leave plans.

Schedule

Samsara embraces a flexible working model catering to diverse team needs. Offices are available for those who prefer in-person work, and remote work is supported where aligned with operational requirements. Some roles may require proximity to an office or specific geographic area to facilitate collaboration or resource access; these requirements will be clearly stated in the job description.
