Principal Business Consultant - Life Sciences R&D

As a Principal Consultant in R&D, you will help customers bring treatments to patients faster by transforming how they work with Technology, Data, and AI. You will focus on reshaping operating models, driving organizational change, and measuring tangible business value. R&D is a broad area that includes several distinct practices: Clinical Operations, Clinical Data Management, Regulatory, and Pharmacovigilance. You will focus in one of these practices based on your background, interests, and needs of the business. You will build credibility, depth, and relationships in that practice, and become a thought leader for the industry.

Responsibilities

• Project Mastery: Act as the Lead for Veeva BC's largest and most complex global projects, maintaining full accountability for excellence across multiple teams
• Strategic Growth: Lead and own Business Development, focusing on architecting and winning key deals exceeding $1M+
• People Leadership: Manage and mentor high-performing consulting teams, taking responsibility for the professional growth and delivery standards of the practice
• Thought Leadership: Develop and champion industry-leading thought leadership in your practice to keep Veeva at the cutting edge of Life Sciences
• Customer Success: Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders, leveraging Veeva's data and software to solve their most critical challenges

Requirements

• 10+ years of Life Sciences Consulting experience (Management Consulting preferred)
• Proven ability to win and deliver $1M+ consulting engagements
• Deep domain knowledge in biopharma ClinOps, ClinData, Regulatory, or Pharmacovigilance, and a comprehensive understanding of the Life Sciences landscape
• Extensive experience managing multiple project teams and senior-level customer relationships
• Bachelor's degree or higher

Pay

Base pay: $120,000 - $250,000

The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.

Schedule

Veeva is a Work Anywhere company. You can work from home or the office on any given day. Core hours are established where employees are generally available for meetings and collaboration.

Product teams are organized in regional product hubs for optimal collaboration and live within a time zone of their hub. Customer-facing roles, such as Sales and Professional Services, live near and/or travel to their customers.
