About the role

The Principal will play a key role across the full investment lifecycle, including sourcing, due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio value creation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing and deal origination efforts for software investments
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, including financial modeling and valuation
  • Execute transactions, providing strategic guidance and operational support to portfolio companies
  • Work closely with portfolio company management teams on strategic initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with founders, executives, and advisors

Requirements

  • 6-10+ years of experience across growth equity, private equity, venture capital, or technology investment banking
  • Direct investing experience within software, SaaS, or technology businesses
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diligence and transaction execution processes
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and investment underwriting capabilities
  • Experience evaluating software business models, recurring revenue metrics, retention dynamics, and growth drivers
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with founders, executives, and advisors
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a lean, high-accountability environment
  • Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
    • Passionate about software and technology investments
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
