About the role
Leading a child care center is something special. We’re hiring and we want difference makers who will inspire children to become lifelong learners.
Responsibilities
- Manages school staff by planning work schedules, evaluating staff performance, and developing performance improvement plans.
- Aids in the implementation of Company-provided curriculum, which includes coaching, communicating, and interpreting standards with teachers.
- Ensures the school is operating in accordance with company and state licensing standards, while promoting a positive partnership within the surrounding community.
- Drives the enrollment and marketing of Everbrook Academy as a premier brand in the child care industry utilizing grassroots marketing strategies, community outreach, and local partnerships.
- Spark imagination, build self-esteem, and help children discover new things each day in an educational, caring, and safe environment.
- Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
Requirements
- Must be Director qualified according to state licensing regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree required in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
- 1-2 years of supervisory/management experience; experience in early childhood education strongly preferred.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid state license to operate a child care center.
Skills
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and parents.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and education.
- Experience in managing a team and implementing curriculum.
