We are currently seeking a Principal for our Thermal Sciences Practice in Natick, MA. This position will involve applying advanced economic, financial, and technical expertise to real-world challenges in energy markets, including investment strategy, asset valuation, regulatory analysis, and generation and transmission development.

Opportunity Details

This position will involve applying advanced economic, financial, and technical expertise to real-world challenges in energy markets, including investment strategy, asset valuation, regulatory analysis, and generation and transmission development. As a Principal Engineer, you will:

• Cultivate relationships with existing clients, identify new business opportunities, lead teams to perform leading-edge analyses, and contribute to the growth of our Thermal Sciences Practice.
• Lead complex engagements related to energy market economics, asset valuation, regulatory and dispute matters, investment strategy, and expert testimony.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with experts in other technical disciplines.
• Perform project management and build client relationships.
• Perform economic calculations and analyses.
• Prepare written reports, proposals, and presentations.

Qualifications

• M.S. Degree in Energy, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant consulting experience in energy economics.
• Significant demonstrated experience generating business and managing client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to gather information from, and convey technical conclusions to, individuals in engineering, the legal profession, business and industry.

Requirements

• Presently legally authorized to work in the United States.
