About the role
The Principal is responsible for leading a school community to achieve high levels of academic achievement, social and emotional growth, and positive character development for all students.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of the school’s curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal educational regulations.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive professional development plan for staff.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and community members to support student success.
- Manage the budget and resources of the school effectively.
- Supervise the hiring, training, and evaluation of staff.
- Facilitate the development of a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Conduct regular assessments of student progress and provide feedback to students and families.
Requirements
- Masters degree in education or related field.
- At least 5 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
- Experience in administrative roles such as Assistant Principal or equivalent.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of current educational theories and practices.
- Experience with data-driven decision making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Skills
- Strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a 12-month contract.
