Principal Asbestos Consultant

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Principal Asbestos Consultant to support a range of public and private sector organizations, including universities, housing associations, and housebuilders. The role involves moving from inspection and testing to a more strategic consultancy focused on assurance and delivery of consultancy reports.

Responsibilities

• Quality control reviews of asbestos data reports
• Collection and analysis of audit data
• Conducting site-based audits of asbestos suppliers
• Consulting with suppliers to ensure improvements
• Auditing asbestos management systems
• Developing consultancy reports
• Training and developing into other areas within the company, such as Health & Safety, Fire, or Compliance

Requirements

• Experienced Asbestos Consultant or Surveyor
• Technical Lead experience
• Experience in delivering consultancy reports
• Ability to work in a home-based role, covering projects in the North West and West Midlands

• Competitive salary range of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience

Qualifications

• BOHS CoCA qualification expected for the top banding of the salary
