Technical Experience
- 10 years of hands-on Salesforce experience including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Agentforce
- Experience shipping features, configuring data models, integrating external systems, and troubleshooting production issues
- Deep expertise in at least 2 of the following areas:
- Sales Cloud architecture
- Service Cloud configuration
- Marketing Cloud Engagement
- Data Cloud
- Agentforce/Einstein Copilot
- Commerce Cloud
- Integration design (APIs, middleware, ETL patterns)
- Proficiency with SQL and data modeling
- Comfortable with APIs and API-first architecture
- Ability to design pseudocode or explain data pipelines
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, databases, identity management, and compliance frameworks
- Comfort asking smart questions about adjacent technologies such as AI/ML, security, and governance
Consulting Delivery Experience
- Minimum 5 years in a consulting or SI delivery role (Salesforce consulting partner, tech SI, or in-house consulting team)
- Understanding of the consulting operating model including fixed-scope engagements, rapid onboarding, stakeholder management, and delivery under timeline pressure
- Track record leading engagements with complex requirements, multiple stakeholder groups, and meaningful scope (250K–2M contract value)
- Ownership of delivery outcomes beyond technical tasks
- Proven ability to work directly with enterprise clients including navigating approvals, managing expectations, handling scope creep, and building long-term relationships
- Experience with enterprise sales cycles and political dynamics
- Ability to define and execute phased go-to-market strategies, manage pilot-to-production transitions, and measure adoption success
- Skill in staging work for early wins and stakeholder confidence
Business Acumen & Commercial Thinking
- Ability to frame technical problems in business language
- Quantify impact (e.g., KYC turnaround from 3 days to 2 hours, annual FTE cost of 450K, revenue uplift, risk reduction)
- Connect solutions to P&L impact; comfortable reading and discussing financial metrics such as margins, COGS, ROI, cost of ownership, and payback period
- Ability to defend project economics to finance and executive teams
- Understand engagement economics including fixed-fee vs. time-and-materials tradeoffs, scope protection to preserve margin, and how scope changes impact delivery profitability
- Think like a delivery lead: identify expansion opportunities, position next steps, and scale solutions across business units or geographies
- Grow accounts beyond MVP delivery

Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience at a top-tier Salesforce consulting partner (e.g., Slalom, Deloitte, Accenture, Simplus, Salesforce PS, Coastal Cloud, IBM, PwC, EY, KPMG) or recognized technology SI
- Track record of leading or co-owning engagements with contract values ≥1M and teams of ≥3 people
- Hands-on experience with Data Cloud architecture, Agentforce design, or AI-native solution patterns including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and discovery/architecture work with Fortune 500 or highly regulated clients (financial services, healthcare, public sector)
- Salesforce certification (e.g., Platform Developer I, Solutions Architect, or relevant cloud certification)
- History of mentoring junior engineers, supporting presales efforts, or supporting business development in closing deals
- Experience managing engagement P&L, tracking delivery margin, or making scope/timeline tradeoffs to protect profitability
Variable compensation includes a bonus or variable payout component based on individual and organizational performance. Actual compensation within the range is dependent on skills, experience, performance, and internal equity.
