Role Description Job Summary Seeking an experienced Principal with 11 to 15 years of expertise in Java and AWS API Gateway to lead the design and development of scalable secure backend solutions within the JAVAAWS skill cluster family Job Description Design develop and maintain robust backend services using Java Utilize AWS API Gateway to create manage and secure scalable APIs Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate backend components with other services Ensure adherence to coding standards security best practices and performance optimization Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirement analysis design development testing and deployment Work within Agile methodologies to deliver iterative improvements Monitor and optimize application performance on AWS cloud infrastructure Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed APIs and services Roles And Responsibilities Lead the architecture design and implementation of scalable backend solutions leveraging Java and AWS API Gateway Drive best practices in API design security and cloud integration Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CICD pipelines and automate deployments Troubleshoot debug and resolve production issues promptly to ensure high availability Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards to maintain high quality deliverables Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and midlevel developers Engage in sprint planning reviews and retrospectives to promote continuous improvement Stay updated with emerging technologies in Java and AWS to recommend architectural and process enhancements Other Details Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
