Job Summary

We are seeking a Principal Architect, Cloud & Application Transformation to lead the evolution of our application ecosystem. This role involves modernizing legacy platforms, accelerating cloud adoption, and enabling AI-driven capabilities.

About the Role

This is a high-impact, onsite role in Overland Park, KS, partnering with executive leadership, engineering, and product teams. Must be onsite within our Overland Park, KS office location.

What You’ll Do

• Lead cloud and application transformation strategy including App → Cloud initiatives
• Drive modernization using microservices, APIs, and event-driven architecture
• Lead design reviews, code reviews, and architecture decisions
• Develop prototypes and reference architecture
• Architect solutions across AWS
• Mentor other engineers and architects
• Champion AI/ML and data-driven engineering approaches
• Partner with executive leadership on technology strategy
• Guide SDLC architecture standards and governance

Required Qualifications

• Experience as Principal or Lead Architect in enterprise environments
• Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
• Experience with .NET, C#, distributed systems
• Track record leading modernization initiatives
• Proven success with application-to-cloud transformations
• Strong stakeholder communication and influence
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Must be on site in Overland Park, KS

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes
• Healthcare or regulated industry experience
• Experience with AI/ML or LLM integration
• Cloud certifications
