Principal AI Search & Conversation Architect

About the role

The Principal AI Search & Conversation Architect will design and lead the architecture of a next-generation conversational AI platform, creating systems that understand intent, retrieve real-time data, and generate intelligent, multi-step conversational responses.

Responsibilities

• Architect the AI orchestration layer for LLMs, specialized agents, and retrieval systems.
• Define technical vision for memory management, semantic search, and vector databases.
• Coordinate multi-agent systems to replace traditional search with natural dialogue.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and low-latency cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership on AI evaluation frameworks and product integration.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and orchestration frameworks.
• Proven experience designing global-scale distributed, cloud-native systems.
• Leadership background as a Principal or Distinguished Engineer.
• Strong background in recommendation engines, ranking algorithms, and personalization.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
