Sr AI Architect - Conversational AI

For our client, a leader in the Enterprise Technology space, we are seeking a Senior AI Architect specializing in Conversational AI to join their team. This role focuses on the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery, working across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive a long-term AI/ML architectural vision aligned with business goals
• Own the strategic roadmap for the company’s ML/AI Ops platform and tooling
• Evaluate and implement modern architectures and optimization techniques
• Lead architecture for agentic AI systems including reasoning and contextual grounding
• Stay current with advancements in LLMs, agent frameworks, and AI infrastructure
• Transition between high-level strategy and technical execution
• Collaborate with Product Management to align technical initiatives with customer value

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering experience, with 6+ years focused on production-grade ML systems
• Extensive ML Ops and LLM Ops experience, including evaluation metrics and automated retraining
• Deep expertise in production-grade ML/AI system design and deployment
• Strong understanding of the Context Engineering lifecycle and multi-turn conversations
• Experience building cloud-based services with AWS, GCP, or Azure for high-volume data management
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with mentoring capabilities
• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field

Pay

$275,840 – $405,600 annually
