Prime Air is seeking a Repair Technician who combines technical skills with a passion for maintaining machinery and aircraft. This role involves drone maintenance and routine service to ensure aircraft conform to design and are in safe operating condition. You will work closely with engineering, flight operations, and other Prime Air teams.
Responsibilities
- Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities
- Demonstrate understanding of fleet performance metrics
- Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes
- Manage fleet spare parts and inventory
- Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations
- Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals
Requirements
- Ability to carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Travel up to 25% of the time
- Experience with common business applications and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Word, Excel)
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical and electrical integration or assembly
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience installing sub-assemblies and assemblies while working to drawings or CAD files
- Experience in the aviation industry
- Experience in business communication skills
- Experience in Robotics and Manufacturing engineering
Pay
USA, MD, Sparrows Point - $33.00 USD hourly (including base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential). As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
