Responsibilities
- Maintains aircraft preparedness in regard to cleaning, fueling, stocking, and towing.
- Conducts thorough inspections, maintenance, modifications and repairs on various corporate aircraft models.
- Serves aircraft fuel and oil tanks as directed by Maintenance Manager or flight crew.
- Tows aircraft in and out of the hangar.
- Responsible for the fuel farm including meeting compliance requirements set forth by the airfield as well as ordering fuel as needed.
- Aids crew and passengers with luggage, transport and special requests.
- Connects ground support equipment for air conditioning, heating and power.
- Supplies, cleans, and services aircraft galley and procures supplies when necessary.
- Cleans and maintains lavatories in aircraft.
- Stands fire watch, with fire extinguisher readily available, when aircraft engine starts.
- Cleans floors in hangar.
- Helps set up and tear down events held in hangar, offsite ranches or other buildings.
- Cleans and fuels vehicles; company, pool, etc.
- Performs pre-flight and post-flight inspections of aircraft to ensure dispatchability.
- Performs inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and replacement of parts on the aircraft.
- Maintains shop and hangar tools and equipment.
- Ensures compliance with Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
- Serves aircraft for dispatch to include all aircraft systems and interior items.
- Launches and recovers aircraft to include loading and unloading of baggage and passenger assistance.
- Debriefs with Flight Crew post-flight.
- Maintains cleanliness of the interior and exterior of company aircraft.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years related experience working with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, aircraft/flight maintenance.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license A&P License required.
- Inspection Authorization Fuel Fire Safety Training certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Basic computer skills for email, data entry, and record keeping.
- Knowledge of safety practices in handling highly combustible and explosive fuels.
- Ability to react quickly and with good judgment in stressful situations.
- Right to work in the U.S.
- Must be willing to travel to offsite locations 25% of the time.
- Ability to obtain a Valid U.S. Passport.
