About the role

Weston Solutions, Inc. is seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined Equipment Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the emissions testing field team and environmental monitoring equipment is fully operational, calibrated, and ready to support projects.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate air monitoring and environmental testing equipment
  • Maintain, clean, and service equipment within the IAS Equipment Store inventory
  • Diagnose issues with returned equipment and document findings
  • Prepare and fulfill equipment requests for field teams, ensuring all necessary accessories and calibration gases are included
  • Mobilize and demobilize mobile test trailers for project deployment
  • Receive returned equipment, inspecting for damage, contamination, and completeness
  • Aid in fleet maintenance and repairs, ensuring vehicles meet DOT compliance requirements
  • Maintain organization and functionality of equipment storage areas
  • Support general shop operations, including cleaning and preparing lab glassware
  • Order parts and supplies as needed to support repairs and maintenance
  • Complete weekly and monthly activity reports
  • Participate in safety training and programs, including hazardous material and environmental awareness
  • Ensure all equipment is calibrated, certified, and safe prior to field use

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical school training preferred)
  • Hands-on technical experience, ideally in equipment repair or maintenance
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, including experience with pumps, gauges, and small engines
  • Familiarity with electronics and instrument calibration
  • Familiarity with environmental or health & safety monitoring equipment is a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical school training preferred)
  • Hands-on technical experience, ideally in equipment repair or maintenance
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, including experience with pumps, gauges, and small engines
  • Working knowledge of electronics and instrument calibration
  • Familiarity with environmental or health & safety monitoring equipment is a plus

Additional Requirements

  • Must live within 30–40 minutes of the Exton, PA or be willing to relocate
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
  • Comfortable with occasional, limited travel to deliver equipment or provide onsite support

Pay

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors. Salary Range: $37,638 - $49,138 - $60,534
