Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) - Canarsie

About the role

Provide outpatient primary care and urgent care across all ages
Perform comprehensive evaluations, diagnose, and treat acute + chronic conditions
Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostics
Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and manage follow-up care
Document visits in EMR using technology-driven tools and support quality initiatives

Responsibilities

• Provide same-day urgent care and continuity primary care across all ages
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
• Create and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and manage follow-up care
• Document visits in electronic medical records (EMR) using AI-powered tools
• Support quality initiatives and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Licensed to practice as a Physician (MD/DO) in New York State
• Completed residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Infection Control Training
• Strong HIPAA knowledge; experience with EMR systems
• MUST obtain FMCSA certification within first 3 months (CDL exams)
• MAT certificate required
• DEA registration preferred
• PREFERRED: urgent care/primary care experience; bilingual English/Spanish

Pay

$230,000 to $250,000 base salary, depending on experience and schedule
Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus
Up to $45,000 in quarterly performance incentives
